Summer

So - this is the shortest song I've ever written. And as of right now - i feel some of my best lyrics ever. It's hard to describe exactly what it's about. The core of this song is peace and love. I had this amazing connection to summer and warm summer nights with a slight breeze are my absolute favorite. It feels like the epitome of who I am. I am also struck with how memories are attached to certain things and the way I have so many associated with summer. To be honest mostly with relationships. It seems so easy to fall in love in summer. And some of those relationships didn't turn out so well - so there is some bitter mixed in there. But then there is ryan - whom I also fell in love with during the summer and am still in love with. For some reason summer always seems to make me feel that more and so the lyrics are some what of this great peace and love and growth I have found in my relationship with ryan. It's a lot of things. But here they are.
